Developed in collaboration with storied Italian atelier Arte Veneziana, FORMA transcends traditional boundaries by reinterpreting the agaal–the black woven rope band traditionally used by Emirati men to secure their headwear–into a vital structural component for contemporary interior pieces.

In FORMA, the agaal transcends its original purpose and is repurposed as a fundamental building material. By reinterpreting the agaal in this way, its cultural significance is celebrated and its functional and aesthetic value is enhanced, making each piece a celebration of identity and collaboration. Comprising of a series of striking lighting and functional décor pieces, FORMA invites us to rethink the boundaries of materiality and design, highlighting the potential to transform conventional elements into functional interior elements and creations.
